What Does Smooth Skin Mean To You?
How do you describe the feeling of smooth, nourished skin? Is it when your fingers glide along your skin’s surface? Where there’s no trace of roughness or dry skin? Or maybe when you look at it, it seems to almost have a glow.
We know that achieving this silky-smooth feeling has a lot to do with the care you give your skin. One of the best ways to achieve it is to exfoliate skin. But we also know that everyone’s skin is different, so when it comes to finding your perfect exfoliating scrub, it’s all about what works for you. While some of us want a thick, grainy scrub, others want a more gentle, smoothing body polish.
And as well finding a texture you like in a body exfoliator, a lot of it comes down to your skin type (for example, if you have delicate skin, it’s good to stick to a gentle exfoliator). So, when it comes to cleansing washes, moisturizers and body lotions, why do so many beauty brands offer multiple varieties for different skin types? But with body scrubs, it seems like it’s ‘one size fits all’? Well, we’re holding our hands up to say that was us, too – until we realized that our different skin types have different needs, which means we need to think differently about how to get smooth, glowing skin.

The moderate polish is already a firm favorite from our cleansing body polish range, so we’ve dialled the level of exfoliation up and down to give you even more choice in how you want your body polish to feel. Our new Gentle Body Polish is perfect for sensitive, delicate skin. It’s an oatmeal scrub containing ultra-fine grains which help it to exfoliate gently and buff away dull, dry skin. Containing colloidal oatmeal and calendula oil, this moisture-packed exfoliator gives you instant softness – as we wanted it to be as caring as possible, we’ve included a hypoallergenic fragrance, too.
Our Moderate Body Polishes have become beauty editor favorites thanks to their gorgeous scents and not-too-grainy-yet-not-too-creamy textures. They’re available in three varieties: Pomegranate Seed & Shea Butter; Crushed Macadamia & Rice Milk and Crushed Almond & Mango Butter. They deliver just the right amount of exfoliation power to give you glowing skin, and lasting smoothness, too.
Finally, there’s our Deep Body Polish with brown sugar and coconut butter. Perfect for providing deep moisture to targeted rough, dry areas – or just for an all-over deep clean – this indulgent scrub buffs away dead skin to leave it soft and nourished – the perfect body scrub for ultra-dry skin.
Building a smooth skin routine is all about what works for you. Some people stick to just one variety of exfoliating cleanser; others go for our Deep Body Polish on dry areas like knees and heels, then go for a moderate or gentle scrub elsewhere.
